Description

Develop this wonderful texture and detailed neckline and enjoy the slight play with color-blocking. Crochet broomstick and openwork at the boat neck featuring a breezy-filet body.

Finished Size: 36 (38¼, 40½, 42¾, 45, 47¼)” bust circumference. Garment shown measures 36″, modeled with 2″ ease.
Yarn: Quince & Co. Sparrow (100% organic linen; 168 yd [155 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]) #206 butternut (straw; A), 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 4) skeins; #202 birch (blue-gray; B), 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 3) skeins; #203 nannyberry (red; C), 1 (2, 2, 2, 3, 3) skeins.
Yarn Weight: #2 – Fine
Needles: Size G/6 (4 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Size 17 (12.75 mm) knitting needle for broomstick lace; yarn needle. Knitting needle size is not critical. Any very large size needle can be used. Needle size defines the size of lace lps in the strip.
Notions: 18 sts and 9 rows = 4½” in main patt, blocked.
