Rounds of single crochet form the base of this clever bag. You add the flap on the fly, then work the entire bag in the round. A single stripe accents the shaping lines of this little bag, just right for toting essentials.

Finished Size 8″ wide and 16¾” high, not including strap, before felting; 7″ wide and 6″ high, not including strap or flap, 14″ high including flap, after felting.

Yarn Brown Sheep Lanaloft (100% wool; 160 yd [146 m]/4 oz [100 g]; ): #LL 95 cherry splash (A), #LL 78 celery (B), 1 skein each.
Yarn Weight #4 – Medium

Hook Sizes H/8 (5 mm) and J/10 (6 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions Stitch markers (m); yarn needle.

Gauge 11 sts and 12 rows = 4″ in sc with smaller hook.
