Description

This light wrap conjured up by Karla McCalmont balances Tunisian entrelac diamonds with an equal amount of air to create an airy-light confection with the surprising warmth of a wool-silk blend laceweight. Worked in one continuous piece, it has only two ends to weave in. The second tier of diamonds calls for concentration as you link it to the first tier, but after that, all is smooth.

Finished Size 20″ wide and 80″ long.
Yarn Lorna’s Laces Helen’s Lace (50% wool, 50% silk; 1,250 yd [1,143 m]/4 oz [113 g]; ): #204 daffodil, 1 skein.
Yarn Weight #1 – Super Fine
Hook G/6 (4 mm) hook. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions Stitch markers (m, optional); blocking wires/pins; yarn needle.
Gauge 8 diamonds – 4 diamonds measures 15″ – 4 ¾” unblocked and 16″ – 6″ blocked. Gauge not critical for this project.
