Add a bright bust of inspiring color to your sofa with this retro pillow. Evocative of the Granny square, all the rage in the 1960s, this pillow grows with increasingly wider shells, then is framed into a square. The buttoned, two-piece crocheted back lets you slip off the cover for sprucing up.

Finished Size 16″ square with pillow form inserted.
Yarn Valley Yarns Southwick (52% pima cotton, 48% bamboo; 105 yd [96 m]/1 ¾ oz [50 g]; ): #13 iguana (A) and #13 persimmon (B), 1 skein each; #08 sunset (C), 2 skeins; and #10 Nantucket (D), 3 skeins. Yarn distributed by WEBS.
Yarn Weight #4 – Medium
Hook Size F/5 (3.75 mm) hook. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions Yarn needle; straight pins; three 1″ buttons; 16″ square pillow form.
