SPECIFIC YARN USED Manos del Uruguay Alegría Grande (75% superwash merino, 25% polyamide; 219 yd 200 m/3½ oz 100 g): #2199 carmine, 4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7) skeins. Yarn distributed by Fairmount Fibers.
NEEDLES SIZES 4 (3.5 mm) and 6 (4 mm): straight and 24” circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
NOTIONS Removable markers (m); stitch holders; cable needle (cn); tapestry needle.
GAUGE 19 sts and 28 rows = 4” in St st on larger needles; 19 sts and 24 rows = 4” in Honeycomb Drop st on smaller needles.
