Description

Simple stitches and heavy yarn create a thick-and-cozy sweater to snuggle into on the sofa during cold winter evenings. Subtle changes in stitch pattern, waist shaping, and set-in sleeves ensure a flattering fit, and easy chain-arch borders provide the perfect edging.

Finished Size: 35 ¾ (39 ¾, 43 ¾, 47 ¾, 51 ½)”. Garment shown measures 35 ¾” and is modeled with 1 ½” ease.
Yarn: Lana Grossa Bingo (100% merino wool; 87 yd [80 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]; ): #108 (loden green), 13 (14, 15, 16, 18) balls. Yarn distributed by Muench Yarns.
Yarn weight: #4 – Medium.
Gauge: 15 sts and 11½ rows = 4″ in hdc offset mesh patt.
Hook: Size J/10 (6 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Stitch markers (m); yarn needle; a smooth, thinner, matching yarn for seaming.
