About the Instructor:
Kate Atherley is a mathematician and refugee from the technology industry. She works as the Lead Technical Editor for Knitty magazine as well as a designer and the author of Custom Socks: Knit to Fit Your Feet, Beyond Knit & Purl, The Beginner’s Guide to Writing Knitting Patterns, Knit Mitts, as well as the Online Workshops Math for Knitters and Fixing Knitting Mistakes. She teaches regularly near her home in Ontario and at national and international events.
