Description

Filet crochet is taken to new dimensions with this wrap. Motifs traditionally crocheted in superfine thread are made to fill the expanse of the piece.

Finished Size: One size; Rectangle measures 18″/45.5 cm wide by 72″/183 cm long blocked; assembled to fit average size, approx 45″/¼.5 cm inner circumference measured from side of waist up and diagonally across the body, around side of neck, across the body down to waist
Yarn: Filatura Di Crosa SUPERIOR 70% cashmere, 25% schappe silk, 5% extrafine merino wool (0.88oz/25g balls of 330yds/300m): #25 tomato red, 3 balls
Yarn weight: 2-Fine.
Gauge: 18 sts and 8 rows = 4″/10 cm (as crocheted); filet will open up and grow in length when blocked to approx 7 ½ rows = 4″/10 cm
Needles: G-6 (4mm) crochet hook. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle, metal craft ring, 2 ½”/6.5cm in diameter
