Description

Deep kangaroo pockets and a rippling cable edging dress up Connie Chang Chinchio’s charmingly cozy Farmer’s Market Cardigan. Neat hemmed edges add a final bit of polish.

Finished Size 33 (36 1/2, 40, 43 1/2, 47, 51 1/2)” bust circumference. Cardigan shown measures 36 1/2″, modeled with about 2″ positive ease.
Yarn Lorna’s Laces Green Line Worsted (100% organic merino; 210 yd [192 m]/ 113 g): cedar (green), 6 (7, 8, 8, 9, 10) skeins.
Yarn Weight #3 – Light
Needles Size 8 (5 mm): 24″ circular (cir). Size 7 (4.5 mm): 24″ cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Stitch holders; cable needle (cn); markers (m) in two colors; waste yarn for provisional CO; tapestry needle.
Gauge 18 sts and 25 rows = 4″ in St st on larger needle.
