Description

Erica Schlueter developed the stitch pattern for the Fall River Cowl while playing with welting techniques. The result is a reversible fabric with lots of dimension, and the size is generous enough to be pulled up as a hood.



Finished Size: Size 27″ circumference and 16 1/2″ tall.
Yarn: Filatura Di Crosa Charly Print Melange (100% superwash wool; 71 yd [65 m]/1 ¾ oz [50 g]): #1008 wines, 6 balls. Yarn distributed by Tahki-Stacy Charles Inc.
Needles: Size 9 (5.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Tapestry needle; stitch holder; size I/9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook; contrasting waste yarn.
Gauge: 14 sts and 22 rows = 4″ in St st.
