Description

This crochet sweater beautifully translates a Fair Isle look in a cardigan with a sleek, modern silhouette and a scoop neck. Crochet ribbing, worked in single crochet through the back loop only, edges the hem and sleeves.

Finished Size: 30 (32, 34, 36, 38, 40)” bust circumference, 25 (27, 29, 31, 33, 35)” waist, 34 (36, 38, 40, 42, 44)” hips, buttoned. Garment shown measures 30″ measured with 6″ negative ease. This cardigan fits closely, including the sleeves.
Yarn: Lorna’s Laces Sportmate (70% superwash merino, 30% Outlast; 270 yd [247 m]/3 ½ oz [100 g]): echo (MC), 3 skeins; #57ns patina (CC1), 2 skeins; #56ns fjord (CC2), #38ns brick (CC3), 1 skein each.
Yarn Weight: #2 – Fine
Needles: F5 (3.75 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle; six ½” buttons.
Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows = 4″ in sc.
