Description

Ward off winter’s chill with this oversized chunky cowl. The unique organic texture stitch, reminiscent of knitted brioche, is accomplished with twisted Tunisian stitches. Adventurous crocheters will want to give this graphic pattern a ttry.y.

Finished Size: 40″ circumference and 15½ ” tall.

Specific Yarn Used: Plymouth Yarn Encore Mega (75% acrylic, 25% wool); 64 yd [59 m]/3½ oz [100 g]; #0240 (dark taupe, MC), #0577 (oatmeal, CC), 3 balls each.

Hook: Size M/13 (9 mm) double-ended Tunisian hook. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions: Yarn needle; locking st markers (m), 9 same color, 1 other color.

Gauge: 8 sts and 8 rows = 4″ in main patt.
