Description

A ribbed traveling stitch pattern makes these handsome unisex socks stylish. The interlocking rib, reminiscent of Escher patterns, isn’t merely good-looking-it also ensures a comfy fit. The simple textured stitch will look good in a wide range of yarns.

Finished Size: About 7V (8V)” (19 [21.5] cm) foot circumference and 8V (10)” (21.5 cm) long from back of heel to tip of toe.
Yarn: Fingering weight (Super Fine #1). Shown here: Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock
(80% wool, 20% nylon; 215 yd [195 m]/50 g): #112 Sand Ridge, 2 skeins.
Needles: U.S. size 1 (2.25 mm): set of 4 double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Cable needle (cn; optional); marker (m); tapestry needle.
Gauge: 14 stitches and 17 rounds = 2″ (5 cm) in stockinette stitch worked in the round.
