Specific Yarn Used: Spud & Chloë Sweater (55% superwash wool, 45% organic cotton; 160 yd [146 m]/3 ½ oz [100 g]): #7506 toast (beige; MC), 2 skeins and #7507 moonlight (blue; CC), 1 skein. Yarn distributed by Blue Sky Fibers.

Needles: Size 4 (3.5 mm): straight, 32" circular (cir), and set of double-pointed (dpn). Size 6 (4 mm): set of dpn. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: needle and thread; sewing machine (optional); iron; lining fabric (see Notes): 1 piece 14 ½ " x 30" for bag lining, 1 piece 8 ½ " x 11 ¼ " to cover base stiffener, 1 piece 6½ " x 14" for interior pocket; heavyweight fusible facing (see Notes): 2 pieces 11 ¾ " x 14", 1 piece 4" x 10"; plastic mesh stiffener (see Notes): 2 pieces 4" x 10"; twelve 3/8" inside diameter grommets; grommet tools (hole cutter, insertion tool, hammer); unbleached cotton webbing strap, 2" wide x 2 yd length.
