Description

This nearly seamless bateau-neck sweater is worked in stockinette stitch with ribbed edgings using a self-striping yarn to add color interest without the effort. Body and sleeves are worked separately in the round from the bottom up, then joined to work the yoke in the round to the neckline.

Specific Yarn Used: Motley by Sugar Bush Yarns (60% superfine alpaca/40% merino wool; 328 yd [300 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #1109 Rose Hue, 4(4,5,5,6,6) skeins.

Needles: Size 5 (3.75 mm): 16″ and 32″ circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Size 11 (8 mm): 16″ and 32″ cir and set of dpn. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
