Description

Knit this gorgeous stockinette pullover with an intriguing twisted-stitch cable pattern accent with ease. This simple pattern is great for knitters ready to work cables into their knits and intermediate knitters wanting a quick and easy project. The body is worked in the round to the underarms, then the front and back are worked back and forth in rows. The set-in sleeves are worked in the round to the sleeve cap.

Finished size: 34 1/2 (38, 42, 46, 49 1/2, 53 1/2)” circumference at underarm. Pullover shown measures 34 1/2″; modeled with 1/2″ of negative ease.

Specific yarn used: Plymouth Yarn Homestead (100% Peruvian highland wool; 191 yd [175 m]/31/2 oz [100 g]): #23 Dusty Blue, 5 (6, 7, 8, 8, 9) skeins.

Needles: Size 8 (5 mm): 16″ and 32″ cir-cular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Size 9 (5.5 mm): 32″ cir and set of dpn. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); cable needle (cn); stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 18 sts and 25 rnds = 4″ in St st on larger needle; 37-st chart = 6 3/4″ wide.
