Description

The center lace of Tracy St. John’s airy scarf works quickly in a pattern you’ll have memorized by the third row. The lace border is as elaborate as you choose. leave off rows for a less ornate edge.

Finished Size: About 7½” wide and 72″ long, blocked.

Yarn: Valley Yarns 2/14 Alpaca Silk (80%malpaca, 20% silk; 1,736 yd [1,587 m]/8 oz [227 g]; ): #8 forest, one ½ lb cone. Yarn distributed by WEBS.

Yarn Weight: #2 – Fine

Hook: Size B/1 (2.25 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Gauge: 29 sts and 12 rows= 4″ in dc. Gauge is not critical for this piece.
