Description

The unique lace pattern in this headband creates small butterfly motifs throughout. Once you master the short-row lace technique of this pattern, you’ll will be amazed how quickly it stitches up. You will want to make one in every color!

Finished Size: About 2 ½” wide and 22″ long.
Yarn:Aunt Lydia’s Fashion Crochet Thread size 3 (100% mercerized cotton; 150 yd [137 m]/3 oz [85 g]): #871 plum, 1 ball. Yarn distributed by Coats & Clark.
Yarn Weight: #1 – Super Fine
Hook: Size D/3 (3 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions:Yarn needle; rust-proof pins; spray bottle; 1 ½” wide by 2″ long elastic.
Gauge: 17 sts and 11 rows and short rows = 2 ½” wide by 4″ long in st patt.
