The Driftwood Vest has the perfect chill summer vibe. The lace panel is knitted side to side, then stitches are picked up for the stockinette stitch fronts and back.

Difficulty: Intermediate

Finished Size: 14 ¾ (16 ¾, 18 ¾ , 21 ¾ , 23 ¼ , 24 ¾ , 26 ¼ )" back width. Vest shown measures 16 ¾ " on model with 31 ½ " bust.

Yarn Weight: 3

Specific Yarn Used: Sugar Bush Yarns Cabot (70% Pima cotton, 30% linen; 291 yd [266 m]/3 ½ oz [100 g]): wheat, 2 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4) skeins.

Needles: Size 5 (3.75 mm): 32" circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Marker (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle; size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook.

Gauge: 21 sts and 28 rows = 4" in St st; 56 sts of lace panel = 11" wide.
