Description

Mitered corners, twisted stockinette, facings, and a contrast trim add up to a smart classic.

Finished Size: 32 ½ (35, 40, 44, 48)” bust circumference. Cardigan shown measures 32 ½”, modeled with 1” of positive ease.
Yarn: Malabrigo Rios (100% superwash merino wool; 210 yd [192 m]/3 ½ oz [100 g]): #412 teal feather (MC), 5 (6, 7, 7, 8) skeins; #69 pearl ten (CC), 1 skein.
Needles: Body and sleeves – sizes 7 (4.5 mm) and 8 (5 mm). Mitered edge trim – size 7 (4.5 mm): 36” circular (cir) and 2 additional size 7 (4.5 mm) cir needles 24-36” long. Sleeve edging – size 7 (4.5): set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle; stitch holders; 4 clasp closures.
Gauge: 18 sts and 25 rows = 4” in Twisted St st on larger needles.
