Description

The DOTS BLANKET can be modified to any size or to use any combination of colors. Designer DEBBIE O’NEILL constructed the afghan out of individual squares, which are picked up and knit from each other-no sewing involved!

Finished Size: 32 (40, 48, 56)” wide and 40 (40, 60, 72)” long. Blanket shown measures 40″ wide and 40″ long.

Yarn: Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash (100% superwash wool; 220 yd [200 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #871 natural (MC), 7 (8, 14, 20) skeins; #1914 pale blue (CC1), 1 (2, 2, 3) skein(s); #1921 red (CC2), 1 (1, 1, 2) skein(s).

Yarn Weight: #3 – Light

Needles: Size 6 (4 mm): straight and 47″ circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Tapestry needle.

Gauge: 20 sts and 40 rows = 4″ in garter st. One square measures 4″ – 4″.
