Simple backgrounds of stockinette and reverse stockinette stitch, with garter-stitch hems and cuffs, set the stage for the fluid cables of the Distortion Pullover. Inspired by the architecture of a building in Prague, the allover cable design features irregular diamonds that stretch and change shape across the body and sleeves of the sweater.

Finished Size: 37 ½ (41 ½, 45 ½, 49 ½, 53 ½, 57 ½, 61 ½, 65 ½)” circumference at underarm. Pullover shown measures 37 ½”; modeled with 2 ¼” of positive ease.

Specific Yarn Used: Trendsetter Yarns New York (100% pure organic Merino wool; 190 yd [174 m]/ 1 ¾ oz [50 g]): #SM012 Copper Melange, 8 (8, 9, 10, 10, 11, 12, 13) skeins.

Needles: Size 6 (4 mm): 24″ circular (cir). Size 4 (3.5 mm): 16″ and 24″ cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders; cable needle (cn); tapestry needle.

Gauge: 24 sts and 34 rows = 4″ in Diamonds patt on larger needle.
