Description

A sportweight wool/silk blend gives terrific drape to the simple shell-stitch of Diana’s Blossom scarf and is punctuated with whimsical flower appliqué©s.

Finished Size: 6 ½” wide by 70″ long after blocking.
Yarn: Malabrigo Silky Merino (51% silk, 49% merino; 150 yd [137 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #434 redwood bark, 3 skeins (MC). Malabrigo Lace (100% merino; 470 yd [430 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #192 periwinkle, 1 skein (CC).
Yarn Weight: #2 – Fine
Hook: Sizes H/8 (5 mm) and E/4 (3.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle.
Gauge: 5 sh and 8 rows = 4″ with larger hook before blocking. Flower = 1½” wide with smallest hook before blocking. Gauge is not critical for this pattern.
