Description

These mitts are created with a new twist on the classic slip stitch: the diagonal slip stitch. They are super simple to make and easy to customize in length and width. Get a perfect fi t and fall in love with the knit like fabric you’ll produce with this new stitch!

Difficulty: Beginner

Finished Size: About 6½ ” circumference and 7¼ ” long, unstretched.

Specific Yarn Used: Ancient Arts Fibre Crafts 100% Superwash Merino DK (100% superwash wool; 220 yd [200 m]/3½ oz [100 g]; basalt, 1 skein.

Hook: Size 7 (4.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions: Yarn needle; st markers (m).

Gauge: 15 sts and 20 rows = 3″ in diag slip stitch.
