Description

Melissa Wehrle uses a cozy knit-and-purl texture stitch to create deep, clinging warmth in a simple top-down tunic. Working in the round with a raglan shoulder keeps the Deep Texture Tunic sleek and free of bulky seams>

Finished Size 29¾ (32¾, 35, 39¼, 43¾, 48)” bust circumference. Tunic shown measures 32¾”, modeled with ½” negative ease.
Yarn Elsebeth Lavold Calm Wool (40% wool, 30% camel, 30% alpaca; 82 yd [75 m]/50 g): #2 slate, 13 (14, 16, 18, 20, 22) balls. Yarn distributed by Knitting Fever.
Yarn Weight #3 – Light
Needles Body and sleeves size 6 (4 mm): 16″ and 24″ or 29″ circulars (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Ribbing size 5 (3.75 mm): 24″ or 29″ cir and set of dpn. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle; two ¾” buttons.
Gauge 22 sts and 26 rnds = 4″ in textured rib patt on larger needle.
