This easy to knit hat features traveling stitches in a pattern reminiscent of that in Julia’s Dauphine Cardigan. Make this hat for men and women alike!

Finished Size: 22″ circumference and 7 1/4″ high

Yarn: The Fibre Company Savannah (50% wool, 20% cotton, 15% linen, 15% soya; 160 yd [146 m]/50 g)

Yarn Weight: #2 – Fine

Needles: Size 4 (3.5 mm): 16″ circular (cir) needle; Size 5 (3.75 mm): 16″ cir needle and set of double-pointed needles (dpn)

Notions: Cable needle (cn); Tapestry needle

Gauge: 26 sts and 38 rnds = 4″ in charted patt (Rnds 1&#821112) on larger needle
