This super-cute duo can be worn with buttons in the front or back, over a shirt or by itself. You can customize the look to suit the tastes of your child. The yoke can be made shorter or longer, and the skirt can be made shorter to wear over leggings or longer if your child prefers. The entire dress, including the straps, is crocheted in the round, for minimal finishing.

Finished Size: 12 (183?4, 211?4, 221?4, 23)” chest circumference, un-stretched, to fit an 18″ doll with 111?4″ chest (babies 6-12 months, and children sizes 2, 3, 4). Garment shown measures 22 ½, modeled with ½” ease.
Gauge: 18 sts and 17 rnds = 4″ in sc blo (in the rnd) using smaller hook; 15 sts and 8 rows = 4″ in dc on larger hook.
Needles: F/5 (3.75 mm), G/6 (4 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: St marker (m); yarn needle; two ¾” – 7/8″ buttons for size 6-12 months, two 1 1/8″” 1¼” buttons for sizes 2, 3, and 4; sewing needle and matching thread.
