You never know when you are going to a need a tam and pair of mitts. Spring weather is unpredictable and often transitions back into a chill. With the Convallaria Tam and Mitts set you won’t need to worry about that! They are easy to work up and make a great gift!

Finished Size: Tam: 18¾ (20¾, 22½, 24½)“ brim circumference; Mitts: 6½ (7½, 8½, 9½)” cuff circumference.

Specific Yarn Used: Brown Sheep Company Cotton Fleece (80% cotton, 20% Merino wool; 215 yd 197 m/3½ oz 100 g): #CW450 oriental jade, 3 (3, 3, 4) skeins.

Hook Sizes: G/6 (4 mm) and E/4 (3.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions: Yarn needle.

Gauge: 9 sts = 1¾“ and 7 rnds = 2½” in trellis patt with larger hook; 7 sts and 4 rnds = 1½“ in hdc with larger hook.
