Pretend plique-a-jour enamel earrings.

Description

Give the impression of plique-a-jour enamel using transparent resin and a touch of glitter to create the enamel effect. The resin holds the wire design in place once it cures, and the open back lets the light shine through.

Required Materials: 18-gauge sterling silver round wire, five minute two-part epoxy, Renaissance Wax. See project for complete list.
Tools Needed: jeweler’s saw and blades, flush cutter, soldering torch and tips. See project for complete list.
Techniques Used: fabrication, soldering, resin
