Finished Size: 39¾ (43, 46, 49¼ , 52¾ , 55¾ )" bust circumference, buttoned. Cardigan shown measures 43", modeled with 9" of positive ease.

Specific Yarn Used: Berroco Ultra Alpaca (50% superfine alpaca, 50% Peruvian wool; 215 yd [198 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #6214 steel cut oats, 9 (10, 11, 12, 13, 14) skeins.

Needles: Sizes 4 (3.5 mm) and 5 (3.75 mm): straight. Sizes 6 (4 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm): 32" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); removable m; stitch holders; size G/6 (4 mm) crochet hook; waste yarn for provisional CO; tapestry needle; eight ½ " buttons.

Gauge: 25 sts and 27 rows = 4" in cable patt on largest needle; 20 sts and 27 rows = 4" in Seed st on largest needle.
