Claudia’s Capelet Crochet Pattern Download

Inspired by Irish Crochet, Claudia’s Capelet is made up of leaf motifs

worked in thick-and-thin yarn, then joined together with chain stitches for a

flirty capelet that flutters in the breeze.

Finished Size: 15″ long at longest point, 20″ around neckband, about 60″ around lower edge.
Yarn: Tahki Rio (50% alpaca, 35% merino, 15% silk; 87 yd [80 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]; ): #2

driftwood, 6 skeins.
Yarn Weight: #4 – Medium
Hook: Sizes H/8 (5 mm), J/10 (6 mm), and K/101 /2 (6.5 mm). Adjust hook size if

necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Safety pins; yarn needle.
Gauge: 15 sc and 16 rows = 4″ with smallest hook. Small leaf motif through Rnd 8

measures about 3″ wide by 5″ long.
