Description

This duffel is made up of simple circular motifs that are joined in such a way that the edges form a dimensional surface. The final effect is similar to the cathedral window quilt block. The duff el is sturdy enough for a day hike, in the country or in town.

Finished Size:About 16″ high é- 10″ diameter é- 12″ wide (when laid flat).
Yarn:Red Heart Designer Sport (100% acrylic; 279 yd [255 m]/3 oz [85 g]; ): #3369 cocoa (MC), 2 skeins; #3301 latte (A), and #3290 brick (B), 1 skein each. Yarn distributed by Coats & Clark.
Yarn Weight:#3 – Light
Hook:Size F/5 (3.75 mm) and H/8 (5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions:Yarn needle; safety pins for holding pieces tog while sewing; ½ yd calico fabric for lining; matching thread; handsewing needle; straight pins.
Gauge:19 sts and 20 rows = 4″ in sc, 18 sts and 8 rows = 4″ in dc with smaller hook.
