A narrow scarf worked in a chevron pattern can be worn around the neck or as a headband.

Description

This narrow scarf is perfect for holding your hair back and tying at the neck. Worked in two pieces in a knit and purl chevron pattern, the pieces are grafted at the center with the kitchener stitch.

Finished Size: 3″ wide and 51″ long.
Yarn: ShibuiKnits Sock (100% superwash merino; 191 yd [175 m]/50 g): #4103 roppongi, 2 skeins.
Yarn weight: #1 – Super Fine
Gauge: 38 sts and 41 rows = 4″ in chevron patt.
Needles: Size 2 (2.75 mm) needles. Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Stitch holder, yarn needle.
