This cozy cowl is easy to knit, with a cluster-stitch pattern worked in a wedge shape at one end for an asymmetrical look. Worked flat from side to side, this cowl also features knitted-in buttonholes.

Finished Size: 27″ wide and 8″ tall, unbottoned; 18″ circumference, buttoned
Yarn: Brown Sheep Company Nature Spun Worsted (100% wool; 245 yd [224 m]/100 g): #N17W french clay, 1 skein
Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm): 24″ circular (cir) needle. Size 5 (3.75 mm): 24″ cir needle. Tapestry needle.
Other tools: Markers (m). Three 1.5″ (40 mm) buttons.
Gauge: 18 sts and 28 rows = 4″ in St st on larger needle
