This design was inspired by vintage fashion. The loop stitch, sometimes known as the fur stitch, produces a fantastic fur-like fabric that can be dressed up or down, making the vest both versatile and trendy.

FINISHED SIZE 32 (35¾, 40, 42¾, 46¾, 50)“ bust circumference. Sample shown measures 32”, modeled with 0” positive ease.
YARN Valley Yarns Charlemont (distributed by WEBS) (60% fine superwash merino wool, 20% silk, 20% polyamide; 439 yd (401 m)/3½ oz (100 g)): light gray, 4 (4, 5, 6, 6, 7) hanks.
HOOK Size G/6 (4 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
NOTIONS Stitch markers (m), 4; yarn needle.
GAUGE 25 sts and 22 rows = 4” in patt, blocked.
