Description

Worked in two pieces and joined at the shoulder, this tunic plays a graphic lace pattern against a theatrical silhouette. A rose motif is worked in intarsia and set into the front neckline.

Finished Size: 27 (35 3/4, 44 1/2)” wide. Tunic shown measures 27″.
Yarn: The Fibre Company Road to China Light (65% baby alpaca, 15% silk, 10% camel, 10% cashmere; 159 yd [145 m]/1 3/4 oz [50 g]): feldspar (MC), 8 (11, 13) skeins; rhodolite (A), garnet (B), and malachite (C), 1 skein each. Yarn distributed by Kelbourne Woolens
Yarn Weight: #2 – Fine
Needles: Body-size 4 (3.5 mm): 24″ circular (cir). Three-needle BO-size 8 (5 mm). Neckband-size 1 1/2 (2.5 mm): 24″ cir. I-cord-size 1 1/2 (2.5 mm): two double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Cable needle (cn); stitch holder; tapestry needle; size B/1 (2.25 mm) crochet hook.
Gauge: 20 sts and 34 rows = 4″ in Herringbone Eyelet patt on middle-size needle.
