Skill Level: Confident Beginner to Intermediate

Yarn: DK (#3) weight. Shown here: Blue Sky Alpacas Melange (100% baby alpaca; 110 yd [100 m]/50 g): #809 Toasted Almond, 3 [4, 4] hanks.

Hooks: Size G/6 (4 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain gauge. Size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook for edging.

Notions: Yarn needle.

Finished Size: X-Small/Small: 8″ long × 11″ circumference of upper section (20.5 × 28 cm) with approx. 2½” (6.5 cm) of ease.
Medium/Large: 8″ long × 12½” circumference of upper section (20.5 × 31.5 cm) with approx. 3″ (7.5 cm) of ease.
X-Large/2X: 8″ long × 14″ circumference of upper section (20.5 × 35.5 cm) with approx. 3½” (9 cm) of ease.
For even larger sizes, add 8 sts to starting ch to add 1½” (3.8 cm) to width.

Gauge: 20 sts = 4″ (10 cm), 7 rows = 2″ (5 cm) in ribbing pattern (fpdc, bpdc) with larger hook.
