Smooth meets textured with this fun bobble hat. Half double crochet working in the back bar creates a smooth fabric, offset by the lines of fun bobbles. Use a single color to show off the texture or use too to add some fun and drama to this slouchy-style hat. Pair with the Busy Bobbly Mittens are a fun and colorful winter set.

Finished Size: 16 1/4 (17 1/4, 18, 18 3/4, 19 1/2,
20 1/2)” circumference at ribbed edge,
18 1/4 (19, 20, 21, 21 3/4, 22 3/4)” body
circumference, and 8 1/2 (9 1/2, 9 1/2, 9 1/2,
10 3/4, 10 3/4)” tall. Hat shown measures
18″ at edge.

Yarn: Berroco Cosma (60% baby alpaca,
30% wool, 10% silk; 164 yd [150 m]/1 3/4 oz
[50 g]; ): #2442 serenity (MC), 2 (2, 2,
2, 2, 3) skeins; #2420 hibiscus (CC),
1 skein.

Hook: Sizes D/3 (3.25 mm) and C/2
(2.75 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary
to obtain correct gauge.

Notions: St marker (m); yarn needle;
cardboard measuring 3 1/2 wide and 5-6″
long (to make pom-pom).

Gauge: 22 1/2 sts and 20 rnds = 4″ worked
in the rnd in hdcbb.
