Description

This stitch pattern is thick enough to catch any spit-ups from baby food, yet soft enough for baby to bury into when needing to be burped. The strap can be used to secure the bib on a squirmy baby, or it can be fastened around the strap of the diaper bag for easy access.

Finished Size: 7.5″ (19cm) wide by 7″ (18cm) long, excluding strap
Yarn: DK weight (#3 Light). Shown: Tahki/Stacy Charles, Cotton Classic (100% mercerized cotton; 108 yd [100 m]/1.75 oz [50 g]): Option 1 (shown on page 4): #3541 light cantaloupe (MC), 1 hank; #3856 deep indigo (CC1), 1 hank; 3424 deep red (CC2), 1 hank. Option 2 (shown on page 1): #3456 bright raspberry (MC), 1 hank.
Hook: H/8 (5.00 mm) or hook needed to obtain gauge.
Notions: Tapestry needle for weaving in ends; stitch markers; spray bottle with water and straight pins for blocking; 1″ (2.5 cm) button.
Gauge: 21 sts (10 SR) by 26 rows (13 RR) in Woven Stitch Pattern (wsp) = 4″ x 4″ (10 x 10 cm).
