Description

Make a retro-cool cardigan for the little guy in your life. The Buck Jacket is worked back and forth in one piece to the armholes, and then the fronts and back are worked separately.

Finished Size: 24 1/2 (26 1/2, 28 1/2, 30 1/2, 32 1/2)” chest circumference. Jacket shown measures 30 1/2″.
Yarn: Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash Aran (100% superwash merino wool; 150 yd [137 m]/3 1/2 oz [100 g]): #201 sesame (light brown; MC) 2 (3, 4, 4, 5) skeins; #817 Aran (white; CC1), #818 mocha (medium brown; CC2), and #819 chocolate (dark brown; CC3), 1 skein each.
Needles: Sizes 7 (4.5 mm) and 8 (5 mm): 24″ circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle; 12 (13, 14, 16, 17 1/2)” separating zipper; 1 yd of 7/8″ grosgrain ribbon; sewing needle and thread.
Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows = 4″ in St st on larger needle; 16 sts and 21 rows = 4″ in Mistake St Rib on larger needle.
