Description

Brioche is one of the designer’s favorite stitches. She loves the plush texture and strong lines of the dimensional ribbed pattern. In this sleeveless, V-necked top, she uses double decreases to shape the neckline and armhole at the same time.

Finished Size: 30 (38, 43 ½, 48 ½, 51 ½)” chest/bust circumference, unstretched. Sweater shown measures 30″.
Yarn: Colinette Wigwam (100% cotton; 142 yd [130 m]/100 g): #115 velvet bronze, 4 (5, 6, 6, 7) skeins. Yarn distributed by Unique Kolours.
Yarn weight: #4 – Medium
Gauge: 12 sts and 32 rows = 4″ in brioche st.
Needles: Size 11 (8 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Removable marker (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.
