Description

This jacket makes an updated showcase for classic Aran patterns. Time-saving features include stockinette-stitch pocket linings that double as gauge swatches and bands worked in as you go. Roomy pockets and a cozy shawl collar provide extra warmth, and a luxurious cashmere-blend yarn makes this jacket the perfect outer layer on a breezy spring day.

Finished Size: 35 (40 ½, 44, 48, 51 ½)” (89 [103, 112, 12, 131] cm) bust/chest circumference, buttoned, after blocking. Jacket shown measures 40 ½” (103 cm).
Yarn: Lion Brand Lion Cashmere Blend (72% merino wool, 15% nylon, 13% cashmere; 84 yd [77 m]/40 g): #098 cream, 19 (20, 22, 24, 27) skeins.
Yarn weight: #4 – Medium
Gauge: 17 sts and 25 rows
Needles: Size 9 (5.5 mm): straight. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
