Materials Needed to Complete This Project

  • Oval turquoise cabochon
  • 22 gauge sterling silver sheet
  • 20 gauge sterling silver sheet
  • 24 gauge fine silver bezel wire
  • Sterling silver full ball wire in two sizes, one larger than the other
  • 6.35mm thin wall sterling silver tubing
  • 8mm hollow silver beads, various sizes
  • 14 or 16 gauge sterling silver wire
  • 20 gauge Argentium or fine silver wire
  • Sterling silver scrap wire
  • 5mm braided leather bolo cord
  • #75 (hard), #70 (medium), and #65 (easy) solder
  • 180 or 220 grit sandpaper
  • Patina of your choice
  • Super glue or epoxy
  • Canned air

Tools Needed to Complete This Project

  • Soldering: Solder and pickle setups, broken bits of honeycomb board, third hand or solder hold down tool, cross lock tweezers
  • Forming: Nylon mallet, cross peen hammer or lining tool, bench block, #2 cut file, jeweler’s saw and blades, round mandrel pliers, small round nose pliers, Fine and UltraFine Sharpie™ markers, stonesetting tools
  • Optional: Flex shaft and polishing wheels, miter vise, finishing media
