Description

This cardigan explores the versatility of double crochet two together (DC2TOG). The cardigan starts not with a base chain but with a row of clusters formed with dc2tog. Worked in one piece to the armholes, the cardigan morphs seamlessly to a dc2tog variation that forms a lacy fabric. A lovely cotton/bamboo-blend yarn makes this a good choice for spring days.

Finished Size: 36 (40, 44, 47, 52)” bust circumference, buttoned. Garment shown measures 36″, modeled with 2″ ease.
Gauge: 18 sts (6 ch-2 sps) and 8 rows = 4″ in openwork patt with largest hook.
Needles: Sizes G/6 (4 mm), H/8 (5 mm), and I/9 (5.5 mm). Adjust hook sizes if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
