Design details make this seemingly simple cardigan special. The shaped body is worked in one piece to the armholes for minimal seaming. The single-crochet seed-stitch front bands are worked at the same time as the body, but regular short rows in the band keep it the same length as the half-double-crochet body. If you like, make even more of the whimsical leaf appliqués to scatter all over the sweater. you’ll look like you just jumped in a leaf pile!
