Description

The designer adds a feminine twist to a classic with bobbled nosegay panels in this cardigan. A basic wear-all-weekend shape gets pretty with simple waist shaping, a tie belt, and a soft, jewel-toned wool/silk tweed.

Finished Size: 32 (36 1???2, 40 1???2, 44, 48)” bust circumference. Sweater shown measures 40 1???2″, modeled with about 5″ positive ease.
Yarn: Fiddlesticks Knitting Luscious Tweed (90% wool, 10% silk; 115 yd [105 m]/50 g): peacock (teal blue), 10 (11, 12, 14, 15) balls.
Yarn weight: #3 – Light
Gauge: 17 sts and 28 rows = 4″ in St st on larger needles; nosegay panel measures 4″ wide.
Needles: Sizes 5 (3.75 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); cable needle (cn); stitch holder; tapestry needle; eight 3???4″ buttons.
