Description

This beautiful beaded project design was inspired by Victorian lacework and Whitby jet mourning necklaces, en vogue during Queen Victoria’s reign (1837 to 1901). Advance your technique as you stitch this decadent beaded project using circular and flat odd-count peyote stitch, brich stitch, picot, and fringe.

Required Materials:

  • 3 hanks black 13° Czech charlottes
  • 1 hank black 11° Czech charlottes
  • 1 g black 11° Japanese triangle beads
  • 391 black 2 to 3mm Czech firepolished beads
  • 42 black 3x10mm Czech dagger beads
  • 4 black 8x12mm oval faceted beads
  • 4 black 6x10mm teardrop faceted beads
  • Black Silamide thread
  • Size 12 beading needles
  • Size 13 beading needles
