Knit a handsome slant on men’s neckwear.

Description

A knitted tie makes a great portable project, and its a good way to get used to working on small needles. After designing two attractive ties for the Winter 2004 issue of Interweave Knits, Shirley now gives us another version that features traditional diagonal stripes formed by working the tie on the bias. Stitches are regularly increased at one end of the needle and decreased at the other.

Yarn weight: #1 – SuperFine
Gauge: 14 sts and 22 rows
