It’s all about the buttons in these fingerless crochet mittens. Short-row shaping keeps the wrists snug on these stylish mittens.

Finished Size: 7″ wrist circumference, 8½” hand circumference (buttoned); 7″ long.
Yarn: Cascade 220 (100% Peruvian highland wool; 220 yd [200 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): color #9404, 1 skein.
Yarn Weight: #4 – Medium
Hook: Size G/6 (4 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle; eighteen 5/8″ vintage looking buttons; matching thread; sewing needle.
Gauge: 16 sts and 15 rows = 4″ in st patt.
