So simple and quick to knit, this hat takes only a few hours to complete. The boy’s hat has funky stripes, while the girl’s features lazy daisy embroidery. It can fit from 3 months old to 12 months old and you can easily add your own twist on the classic baby hat! Also uses the cable method.

Finished Size: For 3 months old, circumference is 13 3/4″ (35 cm).
Yarn: Cottage industry Pakucho (100% organic cotton)
Yarn Weight: 95 yd [87 m/1.75 oz]: girl’s beanie, #2 vanilla (MC), 1 ball, #6 avocado (CC), few yd (all sizes); boy’s striped beanie, #1 natural (MC) and #5 chocolate (cc), 1 ball (all sizes).
Needles: Sizes 5 and 7 (3.75 and 4.5 mm): straight.
Notions: Tapestry needle.
Gauge: 21 sts and 29 rows = 4″ (10cm) in St st on larger needles.
